Why RESET : Timed Right?

Sam Wright - Founder

B.Economics, Grad.Dip. Accounting, MBA, CPRC

Following 30+ years in financial services, inspired by Hugh Mackay’s* insightful views on Australia’s demographic challenges and influenced by my personal and career experiences, I am driven to help and support those Australians who are entering an age where they are being ‘sandwiched’ by the care needs of their loved ones but who are also needing to think about how they will live their own lives in the later years.

Survey after survey highlights that many Australians are just simply not prepared for their “retirement”. The time to reset is right now, don’t leave it until it’s too late.

Through my years of experience in researching, creating and promoting financial products and services to help Australians protect and accumulate wealth, I now see an immediate and escalating need for people to be guided through the complexities of transitioning to a new phase of life.

To this end I have achieved retirement coaching accreditation through the internationally recognised Retirement Coaches Association based in the US and undertaken numerous hours of coaching with Australian clients.

I can help you to prepare, plan and think about the critically important emotional aspects such as your sense of purpose, health, curiosities, social connections and the legacies you leave in your later life utilising a curriculum-based program that’s helped people around the globe for over ten years.

The financial aspects are of course significant determinants of how your life pans out and you may already be on top of this, but very few people spend the time to look at the other main personal drivers of happiness. I am not a financial planner however I can always provide different options for seeking further expert financial advice, through my experience in financial services.

I have extensive planning experience which covers all the key processes of creating a tailored (non-financial) plan for your future. Thinking about the big picture, setting goals, taking account of risks and uncertainties, identifying strengths and areas of focus, looking at possible scenarios, tracking progress, checking milestones and identifying prioritised actions will all be part of your planning process. Ready to reset?
